The Brief
The flats were not suitable for a sprinkler system. The property had to keep this layout otherwise they would loose space in the rooms by creating a corridor.
The Limitations
The client had an inner room situation, which is the where the tenant would have to pass through another habitable room to exit the bedroom. After visiting the properties the client established that they are not suited to a sprinkler system.
The Solution
Automist was installed in the route of escape in each flat to suppress the fire at the source to enable a safe escape route. Kit fitted was Clarendon – 1x pump 2x heads in the kitchen/living and Hillary – 1x pump 1x head in the living room.
