The clients wanted to create an open plan living holiday let that showcased the high vaulted ceilings as an original feature from the old Methodist church.
The Limitations
Installation at Saltburn-By-The-Sea on an old Methodist church which is going to be used as a holiday let with a mezzanine level and open plan area which had high vaulted ceilings.
The Solution
This needed a fire engineered solution, which is a report to justify the use of auto mist when one or more parameters are outside the scope of the British standard. In this case the ceiling height exceeded 3.5m. We installed 1 x pump and 5 x heads system to comply with building control.
