Case Study
Ash Island Lofts completed a full flat refurbishment on this property, converting this first floor flat within a mid-Edwardian terrace to have the living, kitchen and dining area on the top half of the flat and the bedroom and bathroom on the lower floor.
When converting this loft, which went above the first floor, Ash Island Lofts were required to install a fire suppression system in order to create an open plan space which led from the living and kitchen area down to the bedrooms and bathroom.
Ash Island Lofts needed an unobtrusive fire suppression system which would tackle the fire without the need to close it in using doors.
Blue Light efficiently installed the cost effective Automist system which helped Ash Island Lofts to meet the requirements required by Building Control, allowing them to create an open plan space without needing to block off the kitchen which is a potential fire hazard.
The fixed wall head has created a safe escape route in the open plan area without having any impact on the surrounding space.
Ash Island Lofts were extremely happy with the service given by Blue Light and will continue using Blue Light as their first port of call when the need arises for a fire suppression system.
