Case Study
The family living in this three storey London home had outgrown their communal living spaces.
Having seen the clever, space maximising designs Cato Creative carried out on the house next door, the family decided it was time to overhaul their own ground floor space.
They wanted the space to be extended and the whole ground floor level to be one open planned room with clearly defined living spaces – kitchen, dining area, lounge. By keeping the design open plan, this meant the family were able to entertain guests in a warm, social environment.
As with next door, open plan design is a popular trend but it does flag up issues with building control and meeting fire safety regulations.
In order for the designs to be signed off alongside maintaining their carefully created aesthetic, they needed an unobtrusive fire suppression system
Having used the Automist fixed wall head in the ground floor open plan design for next door, Cato Creative knew this was the easy, efficient and cost-effective solution for ensuring building control sign off of this open plan design.
They asked Blue Light to install the fixed wall head in the kitchen and living spaces.
